I've been working on an experimental project lately, combining different programs, using Typography and Fluids. I was interested in seeing the outcome of letterforms made out of fluids and liquids, or even better, what if you had some paint in the form of a letter and let it explode? Well, this has been a really fun project to work with, here are a few letters from the project, I'll be publishing the final results of the project soon.

It was in a car ride home in the Spring of 2009 that I turned to my brother and said: “What do you think of the name ‘Skyrill’?  As in ‘sky’ and ‘rill’ put together?”  And that’s how it all started.

Now, as we look back, we realize what a wonderful two years we’ve had: two years of great projects and wonderful clients.  Two years of learning a lot from each other as well as from all of you.  It truly has been a wonderful adventure.
And so today, it gives us great pleasure to reveal the new skyrill.com!  We recreated the entire website from scratch to make it slicker and more representative of our style of work and are very proud of how it has turned out.  We also now have a new slogan, inspired by the famous nursery rhyme that we feel succinctly embodies our vision for the future.

So pour yourselves a cup of coffee, sit back and relax and enjoy the new skyrill.com.  If you wish, you may click on the icon in the top-right corner to view everything in glorious full-screen!

We still have a lot of ideas for the future and hope to achieve new heights in the coming year.  Thank you all for your continuous comments and emails, and especially to all of our followers on twitter.
